No sound output from my Raspberry Pi 3B Plus

First Steps
Start by going to the Raspbian Desktop and in the upper right corner you'll see a speaker icon. Try these steps to fix this issue:
- Make sure there is not a line through the speaker icon indicating the sound is muted
- If you are using external speakers unplug and then plug them back in
- Repeat the step above if you are using sound through HDMI
- Drag your mouse over the speaker icon and right click on it and toggle between the HDMI and Analog options a few times and make sure you toggle to the position you need (If you are using external speakers it should be on Analog). Reboot the Pi board
